I got tired of waiting and paying to dump the tanks so i made my own into my septic tank. I already had most of the 3 inch connections, I just needed some 10 ft sections of pipe, and I wanted a box to protect the access pipe, so off to home depot.
First I dug the trench, Then I added the box

Then I drilled through the concrete block in the basement near the septic line and added a section of pipe

Then I ran the pipe from the inlet to the wall

Went down stairs and started to connect to the main septic cleanout.

inside finished product

Dump box next to driveway

Rhino adapter fits nice and snug.

In most counties rv dump connections are illegal; however, you seem to have installed a very nice clean-out.

Nice job! I've thought about doing something similar, but you may have given me a better idea. Thanks for posting your project!

I would have connected directly to the septic tank at the cottage, but now can see that yours is a better solution.
We have city sewer at home with an access cap on the line in the centre of our front lawn. Have been told that this is intended for possible future insertion of a sewer meter. I keep wondering whether I can't simply run the dump hose to that connection. Have to ask someone at the city I suppose but will be told, "No!" even though it is the same poop, going to the same place....

Cap on your sewer line in the lawn is for access to clean the lines if necessary. Usually closer to the house but lots of people use the for holding tank dumping. Around here the line from the curb to the house belongs to the property owner.
I would not ask. Use it, put your hose away, and see what happens. If the city objects, you can always say you are sorry and won't do it again.

That may be true in Oregon but not necessarily other parts of the Country. Pretty common around here.
I have two clean outs. One in the very front of the house, which I don't use. One on the back, which I do use. Just wish I would have planned on having a trailer years ago before I poured the back patio. I would have tied into it and run a line to the side of the house where I now have RV parking. As it is I can use the back clean out using about 30' of hose. It works but would be nice if it was closer.
Really nice job on your project. You will appreciate it for years to come.

Thought about doing that at my house where I actually have a septic tank. Very nice job. I lucked out and my father has a home 15 miles away with cleanout leading to sewer system that I can access, they stick up 8" or so. Guess I can hold off on doing that till he sells that place. Like I said really nicely done.

Nice job! When we had a new septic system installed a few years ago, the line from the cottage to the tank runs under the rear bumper where I park the the coach. We just added a sanitary 'Y' and a stub up to ground level with a 4" clean out cap. The only issue the township building inspector had was to have us relabel the "RV Dump Port" on the site plan as a "Clean Out" to keep the state inspectors that look over his shoulder happy. He's a fellow RV'er, so there was no question about what it would actually be used for.
