I got things to do and places to go and don't even give new ownership a second thought when I sell sommething.
Gees it is just a piece of equipment and I doubt whether it has "feelings."
x2. They can put it in a demo derby for all I care as long as I have the cash.

It is always tough to watch something that housed you, comforted you in a storm, was available day and night to go where you wanted to go; being mistreated. I have received a letter from a person that purchased my favorite Bounder M/H thanking me for the care I gave it and the safety mods I had added, so I assume he is taking good care of it to. The other m/h's I have owned I have no idea where they are or what kind of care they get. I would say in your case,it is too late. Let it go and enjoy your present rig, it is your new friend.

I have had the good fortune to buy two motor homes from people who cared about their old RV as much the OP does. As a result we have have had 2 ten year old motor homes that we could drive anywhere with complete confidence, and have nice looking rigs without having to spend the big money it would take to buy a newer unit.
I treat my equipment (whether it was cars or motor homes)the same way that the OP does, and as a result have been able to sell them quickly and for top dollar when I was finished with them.
Just last month I bought back an antique car that I sold years ago to a person who kept it as nice as I did.

Sorry to hear that so many people are disappointed in the new owners care of their old coach. We have the opposite feeling. A group of ten guys bought our old RV and turned it into a fantastic Tailgate vehicle. The bed is out, Texas Hold-Em is in. They have big parties at the games and this old RV has new life. We smile every time we see it. Thanks Jack and friends.

perhaps next time, you should sell it to someone a little further away.
Out of sight, out of mind and all.
This! Definitely don't sell it to someone close - where you can see it go downhill.
I feel for ya.... Maybe you should move.

I had a '98 Chevy Prizm and had planned to drive it 'till the wheels fell off. About two years ago, it was rear-ended and totaled, but it still drove fine. DH jacked the back out with a scissor jack and even got it to where the trunk didn't leak. Eventually we decided to get a new car and sold it to the daughter of a friend, who promptly totaled it again. It was a real shame, but we just rolled our eyes and moved on.

Your dealer called, he wants the Class C back. You took it off the lot and he sees it going down hill - wear and tear, road dirt, worn tires, etc. Bring it back, you don't deserve it!
Get over it, that's why you sold it so you could move on with your life. Really, that's all you and your wife can think of when seeing it? How about how much fun your neighbor is having learning to camp, make it his own and crating his memories?

Full timing isn't "always camping". It's a different life style living in an RV.

I sold a cabin in the forest to a couple and after a year the property was so badly overgrown after wife and I worked our butts off clearing it. It look pretty bad. The pride in ownership just wasn't there anymore. Oh well

When I sell something it is gone, out of my life and whoever bought can do whatever they want with it. I sold a boat that I had never had any problems with. The guy that bought it called me at least once a week asking questions. I did not mind at first but after a while it was pretty tiring. Once he could not get it started and he called at 6am and wanted to know what to do, this was 3 months after I sold it. I tried to explain that I had no way of knowing what kind of care it had been given after he bought it so I did not know. After about 6 months I told him that I had sold it used/as is and he needed to take care of it and he finally stopped calling. My point, once I sell it, it's not mine and the new owner can do whatever he wants with it.
