I was at the store yesterday and they had a BOGO (buy one get one 1/2 off) sale. So I ended up with two pair of new shoes. Just curious what brands do you find the most comfortable for camping?
I ended up with Hi-Tec Total Terrain Pursuits in both low and high top

My old tennis shoes go to the camper to die. Never thought of buying new shoes to camp with.

I pretty much live in Asics when I'm not in sandals, camping or not.

I wear Mions - similar to Keene shoes. I need something that has a non-slip outter sole and a cushioned inner sole.

I don't go by brand. I try on several different kinds and buy what feels most comfortable.

I have sort of watched this for about the last five years. Not necessarily camping but for everyday wear. When you get in a highly senior populated area or just watch seniors anywhere, New Balance by far and away is the shoe of choice. I wear them too, maybe one of the reasons could be that extra wide sizes are readily avaiable. And I'm not the only one to notice the New Balance dominance.

I only buy shoes at Big 5 Sporting Goods that are below $20.00, after descent sale discount. Old shoes go into 5vr. Of course, sandals are always there.

Even have a pr of black Army combat boots I picked up on the way out of service, back in 1968. Only used when necessary because of mud, etc, which we rarely camp in anyway.

I'm also a New Balance guy. I don't have feet - I have hooves. 11 Extra wide.

We don't wear shoes in the RV, so we have always worn some sort of slip-on shoes while driving and around the campsite. We always have walking/hiking shoes with us also. Then, we started bringing our Mud Buddies (shoe-boot things) for muddy times. Last year we decided crocks without holes would take the place of the slip-ons and the Mud Buddies.

They are Work Crocks and we call them our traveling Crocks:
