I have bought and sold many RV's over the years both New and Used and I am in transition from a Diesel Pusher (which is For Sale) to a small travel trailer (less then 24ft.)

Now whether I buy new or used that is what I am pondering, right now I am leaning towards USED (maybe 2 to 3yrs old) because of the quality/workmanship of new RV's in general and buying USED the bugs are worked out. Maybe

So in you opinion who makes Top Quality Travel Trailers?

FWIW,, Airstream is still around and no one has ever been skeptical of thier quality.

If you can get by with no slides, Airstream by far. They may not be made as well as past models, but they will last a long time, and can be rebuilt.

Next would be A Northwood (AF/Nash), or a Lance model.

Of course, there are the fiberglass trailers which people either love or hate.

Look at BigfootRv.com. Their quality is top notch. Have seen Airstream previous owners going to them AND having "no" issues after 5 years of ownership.
If you look over the Airstream forum "and" count how many owners have had constant leaking problems with ensuing rotten floors, you might also come to the conclusion that A- they are not as good as before. B- Thor doesn't care about dealing permenanly with those issues, even for new production.

Any of the molded fiberglass trailers. Casita, Scamp, Egg Camper, Escape, Trillium, Lil Snoozy, Parkliner, etc. All small and very high quality. Some are being towed with 4 and 6 cylinder vehicles.
