Have a '79 coachmen cadet that has lost three interior lights in a row along the roof and one in the bathroom. Lights went out when replacing a bulb, thinking i caused a short. Looked high and low for fuses to no avail, no power is feeding into the inoperative lights. Does anyone know if there is a low voltage fuse block in this unit, or possibly a wiring diagram? Really not looking forward to tracing the wiring blind.

12v fuses are often, right behind the door on your converter that makes your 12v and keeps your battery charged

They are probably all hooked together in a chain so you may have a disconnected wire at one of the lights. Did it happen after replacing the bulb, if so I'd drop that fixture and check the wiring .

Did happen when replacing bulb. Dropped the fixture to check connections and the wire is 14g romex, not likely that a 12v short would burn solid wire. I used to work for a company servicing conversion vans and i'm hoping the trailer does not follow the same "logic" used to wire the vans. Pretty sure the lights are daisy chained together, now to find the sequence. On a side note the only low voltage fuse found was the one in the inverter.

i think you mean 'Converter'
i don't think your cadet came with an inverter used to make 120vac from 12v battery power

the 12v fuse panel should be in your Converter, that is the normal place for it

Mr. Wizard, you are correct it is a converter not an inverter. And I did manage to find a 4 circuit fuse block behind an access panel in it. Problem solved I now have lights. This is my first season with this TT, so I'm working out all the querks with it and got a little worried and immediately assumed the worst.
