Get this-

I put out the slide in my 24C today and hit the fence. No big damage but I did scrape off about 1 inch of the brand new decal on the slide. Then......

Remember when they told you to "make sure nothing is in the way of the slide in the motor home when retracting?" So I forgot to close the bathroom door as I am retracting the slide and I hear a pop- the door snaps shut and the doorknob is bent like a pretzel! Off to home depot to replace. I test the slide and there is no damage

I just replaced the knob and locked her up for the night- I'm not taking anymore chances- keep me away from it!

I don't think there are many out there that could say they haven't had a day like that. We just hope we don't have another one. Happy trails and don't sweat the small stuff. Macktee

Those are probably things you NO LONGER need to worry about cause it's not likely you'll forget this day Just be glad the slide room is stout enough that IT came through OK.

Don't add distilled vinegar to your house battery, read the label fully. My goof for today.

When we do something like that I tell the wife that's why we don't fly fighters. Pop the canopy, drop a bomb on somebody...

The first self inflicted damage is the worst.
