Recently purchased this camper and previous owner did not have any of the owners manuals - I was hoping a search of the camper would turn something up, but nothing yet. Was wondering if anybody on this forum owned a similar camper and could provide some basic info (holding tank size, wiring drawing). I believe it is a 1500 series and it has no basement.

I have a 1988 1500 series Bigfoot. Mine is 11.5 feet. On my Bigfoot, there is a decal outside on the driver side rear of the TC, near the jack mount. That has the model and other info listed. There was also a spec sheet fastened to the closet door. I did receive all of the appliance user manuals, and the Bigfoot manual. I can't say they were very helpful on anything. I think my black is about 8-gallons, and gray is 12-gallons. I think my fresh water is 20-gallons.

I am unfamiliar with the 1996 Bigfoot, but I agree it appears to be a 1500 series, based on the roof line and no basement. It also differs in the insulation thickness as well. The 2500 series insulation is 1/2-inch thicker as I recall. The holding tanks on the 1500 series are smaller that the 2500 (in basement). I think the 1500 series do not weigh as much as the 2500 for a given size.

On the wiring, I suggest you see what you have for a converter. It may be just that, and not a converter/charger. Do you have a built in battery box? The wiring itself will be very basic, nothing elaborate.

Photos of the inside would help in identifying what you have. Photos of the appliances, Model numbers and that kind of info.

Wow, that looks great...Looks like it's a 9'6"...1500...Can not tell the year but looks a lot like Reddog1's.

BF and many other campers etc never provided wiring diagrams, Owners manuals....You did get the manuals for the appliances...
The functionality of the wiring etc, you mostly are on your own...

If the appliance manuals are missing you can search for them online. Just get the model numbers of them...If you have trouble searching post them and we will help.

As Reddog1 said, take a look at the label on the rear of the camper, to the left of the door..It might tell you some info...

Post the year, length etc and someone should know the capacities.

Congrats on getting a new to you camper!!!! We do love our BF! 12 years and over 180,000 miles on the camper...riding on 2 different trucks.

One more thing...The jacks look like Happijac's...
You can get the motors and controller for them...If you want that feature later...Just have to wire it all in...

I actually have all the motors and remote, but tested two and the electric motors were seized up - I have seen the whole assembly for sale for around 175$ each...anyone know if you can buy just the electric motor any cheaper - at 700$ to replace all 4 if needed I might just opt for hand cranking them.

When we got our 85 Bigfoot C9.5 we emailed Bigfoot. They replied with all kinds of info about our unit.

Found that label - thanks! Would have never thought to look on the inside of that door up by the bed. The model # is 15C82FR (or K) - hard to tell which I wrote. Going to Seattle to ski next week so project when I return is to get mounted on a vehicle and get jacks working. Any of you with similar unit have a recommendation for battery set up - I have nothing in there but was thinking to either do the 12 volt rv battery or maybe 2 t105's - prob opt for the cheaper once I plunk down cash on duramax. If you are always hooked up to the truck, do you essentially have 3 battery's hooked up at once? Or are you not able to draw off truck....thanks for all the great info all
