Is it normal for the AC fan to be running while the furnace is on? When I turn my furnace on the AC fan kicks on.. Never had that happen on my 1999 Jayco.. But my 2012 Sabre does this..

Are you talking about a Heat Pump? If so yes.

If there is greater than 4degrees difference between thermostat setting and ambient temp both will come on. Once temp is reached the furnace will shut off and heat pump will take over.

On your Dometic thermostat there are 3 fan settings, Auto, Hi, & Lo. When running the furnace I set ours to Auto and the AC fan won't kick on.

As per the T-stat manual:

“Furnace” - Furnace Mode
In this mode there are 3 fan speed selections:
Lo - (LOW): The fan operates continuously at low speed.
Hi - (HIGH): The fan operates continuously at high speed.
Au - (AUTO): The fan will be OFF.
Note: If additional indoor air circulation provided by the air conditioner is not desired during Furnace Mode of operation, select Au
(AUTO) in the Fan Mode to shut the air conditioner fan off. If Lo
(LOW) or Hi (HIGH) is selected the air conditioner fan will continue
to operate on the selected speed.
