The door on my Monaco Windsor squeaks on the road. I think it is the rubber seal around the door. Anyone know of something I can put on the rubber to stop the squeak that will not rub off on clothing if we should brush against it?

Rubber squeaking on a door is extremely rare. White Grease the latch pins and lock. Doug

Joe, I thought it was our door squeaking too and would have sworn that it was the screen door vibrating against the exit door. It was the electric step cover vibrating. It sure sounded like it was the door.

Also, does the Windsor have the inflating door seal? It could be that you need to adjust the valve that is located in the genny compartment. Just a thought.

I was thinking the same thing, Mark. Don't know if the Windsor came with the air seal. I know all coaches from the Camelot up did. To the OP, if your coach has the air seal, a simple adjustment on that will fix it. Just make sure it IS the DOOR before you go messing with it, don't assume.......Dennis

No, mine doesn't have the inflating seal. What did you do about the step vibrating?

I was getting a squeal sound from the door latch (meal on metal). I now use a 3-5" of black tape around the striker post.

I had a loud squeak in the area of the entry door that would come and go....with the help of my grandkids (who hear well) I was able to determine that the squeak was coming from the hold-open mechanism mounted on the door top. A little bending and lubrication and the squeak is gone.

Well, I finally got around to working on this problem. First I tried lubricating the rubber seal around the door because I was so sure that was where the squeaking was coming from. WRONG!

Eric, you were absolutely right! I wrapped electrical tape around the latch bolts and the squeaking is GONE!

Thanks to all for your suggestions!
