We also have a Class C for our family & absolutely love and agree that having the kids be able to eat, use the potty in a climate controlled environment (we live in Az) is priceless.
However, regarding the TV/AC trick. We used to do that. We used to have 2 kids. We now have 3 kids....be careful what you wish for
We bought our 30' Winnebago anticipating 6/7 bodies each trip. We had plenty of room but time moves on and now there are only four of us and we have a ton of room. Try rv shows down the road and take the whole clan with you so you can plan your sleeping arrangements with everyone on hand and let everything else fall into place after that. Good luck

To the original poster...if you are still interested.
Having 5 kids roaming around freely inside a motorhome un-belted is not really a responsible or safe practice.
I'm not aware of any coaches that are equipped with that many seat belts.
I have 7 kids the DW and myself all in our 1997 Fleetwood Storm. We all have seat belts. We took a week long trip to Alpine, TX back in December it was a little cramped at night but in the daytime it was not a problem at all. As for toad can't really help there we have not figured that out yet.
