hmm.....can you be specific? We live in Central WA and we're fairly new to the area. Campground ideas would be great. I know of what I THINK is an RV park on the road to Wenatchee..can't remember the name right now.... ETA Crescent Bar
I didn't want to start a new topic for this as it is related to this one. I've never camped in the US and am looking for a place in either Idaho, Montana or Washington. We have a 25' travel trailer and a couple of teenagers. We are looking for a nice lake with a good sand beach for swimming with at least semi-private treed camp spots (not parking lot style). We mostly like to take it easy, suntan, read etc on the beach.
Electricity, water, sewer would be good but not totally necessary as we have a generator.
Lakes are harder to find. However some nice river spots are:
Coeur d Alene River
- Kit Price
- Devils Elbow
- Big Hank
Montana
- Bad Medicine camp ground
North Idaho
- Round Lake State Park
We have stayed at all of them at one time or another.
