Nutz sorry but unlike GM, Sergio is moving production form Mexico back to the States.
Link to story
According to an outline the company has been sharing privately with Washington legislators, the number of cars that GM sells in the United States and builds in Mexico, China and South Korea will roughly double.
The proportion of GM cars sold domestically and manufactured in those low-wage countries will rise from 15 percent to 23 percent over the next five years, according to the figures contained in a 12-page presentation offered to lawmakers in response to their questions about overseas production.

Chrysler the only one to pay back 100% of their loans from the Government. *The Old Car Company" still owes 1.6 billion. Is that better Chuckles

GM has made no secret that they wel move production out of the USA. It was part of their plan that they submitted to the Government. Unlike GM, Chrysler is moving production and manufacturing back to the USA.
Yes there will be some products built in other Counties and imported back to the US. With EVERY North American plant working at capacity and plants in Italy not, some vehicles will be built in Italy and imported to North America and other Counties.
Over the next two years Chrysler will be adding (as long as the economy holds out) workers at almost every plant. This also holds true for Ford but I have not heard anything about GM. I'm sure Nutz will chime in with GM's info.
