Traded in a Pleasureway Class B for a new 24 ft. 2011 Thor Chateau Citation. Big mistake! I can understand things needing repairs or an adjustment but explain the following. Corroded chasis below the coach. Two red plastic ext light covers come off on the highway, one with wires dragging in the street. The elec box that controls the microwave oven blew, had to continue my trip using an ext cord. The skylight motor does not open the skylight. A bracket that keeps a large ext storage compartment from opening too much broke. Cabinet doors that rub and even overlap. Water heater 110v did not heat the water. AC leaked in the coach. The list goes on! And it is only ONE YEAR old! Question: Which is a good, quality workmanship rv comparable to mine? Class B+ with a glide out, about 24' long.

Precioustime, there is no such thing as a B+. It's a dealer marketing term. Look at a Born Free, Winnebago View/Itasca Navion, Maybe even one of the Leisure Travel models that have the fiberglass bodies.
Good Luck, and they are all Class C's

Pleasure-Way has a new model out, can either call it a C or B+. I also went from a PW B to a Winnebago 24V C that I remodeled making it into a C for two.

Dick

Check out Born Free Class C.
I was looking for something short and easy to drive and considered Class B.
I ended up buy a 23 foot Born Free.
Real nice quality. All Fiberglass like Coach House.

Hi precioustime in Miami,
I hear you loud and clear about the lack of quality in motor home construction.
We bought a 24 foot Phoenix Cruiser 2350 in Jume of 2007. Coming up on six years now and it has proven to be a very very good motor home. PC owners are in agreement.
But corrosion under the rig, I don't know if that is the fault of the motor home manufacture or the chassis manufacture.
If you like the PC line-up HERE, and you are considering one, I advise you join the PC community forum HERE and ask your many questions.
Just letting you know, PC owners like me all got an email from Phoenix USA that they are offering a deep discount special right now on brand new ready to deliver units, and I think made-to-order as well. And they openly welcome trade-ins and offer financing. It's been a few years when I last saw this kind of special offer going on so I would assume now is a very good time to buy a PC. It would surely be worth a call to get a price on something that interests you, just to see if this is worth pursuing further.
I know the company travels to RV shows around the country. Maybe they will be near you very soon. That would be another question to ask. Their website HERE opening web page mentions Tampa FL. in the 16th-20th. That is right now. Call Stuart on the webpage. You would be talking with the guy at the show.
