yesterday I overtook a fiver with the 4 ways flashing and going 45/50 mph. Road ahead clear so I pulled out to pass and now I know why the 4 ways are flashing. The front left tire was gone. Just the rim. He had a spare, you'd think he would take enough time to put it on. My buddy said "he'll blow the other one before he gets where he's going. It was cold, around 5 f maybe he didn't have a coat and glove. DUMB A**

I would not be too harsh. The day may come when you are limping down the highway with a blow out. . Pride always goes before the fall.

Perhaps he/she wasn't physically able to change a tire. Maybe didn't know how bad it was, couldn't find a place to pull over, etc.

Wow...pretty judgmental. (for someone who doesn't know the whole story)
Hopefully your future is without this kind of grief down the road.

Need a wide area for me to pull off and change a left side tire.
I would sooner wreck both wheels and drag it on the frame before I risked my life to change a flat.

Isn't that what they made roadside assistance for?
So what's he going to do when the second one goes flat?

Maybe slow down to 25mph instead of 45mph
