Well i applied for a loan. Got a loan in the 48hrs as they said.. Approved.. OK.. But... The numbers were wrong.. Called back within 30 mins of recieving the email. Got a voicemail to my "Agent", left message.. Called back 2 hrs later cause i never got a call back..Left another Detailed message..36hrs later NO return call!!! Very Frustrated.. In this day and Economy I think Customer Service should be Paramount..I'm Pre Approved through USAA.. But they are 1% higher.. But Essex Credit has $500 In Fee's.. Customer Service is worth a Price in my book.. My Dad says they took there time with his loan as well, but he is a full timer.. Whats your opinion Peoples.. Go to USAA or take a Chill Pill and wash it down with a cold one. Thanks

My vote is USAA. I've always had good service with them.

Have a loan with USAA. I refinanced it with them for a lower rate and did all "business" on the refi over the phone in about an hour. Now that is service. No regrets here at all.

I had a loan with Essex Credit and found them to be OK. However, their "closing costs" do add up; add another 20% to their estimate of $500. That is one way they can have lower interest on the loan- they add on fake charges that amount to prepaid interest. USAA may well be a cheaper option, overall. A thought: ask USAA to match Essex Credit's interest rate.

Go with USAA. I've had several loans through them and it's always been a pleasure to deal with them. They will not drag their feet, and bend over backwards to help you.

My advise would be not to get a loan at all unless it is for a house that you will live in......do not get a loan on a trailer or mh they go down in value too fast.

He didn't ask for advice - he asked for an opinion on which loan company to use, not whether to use one.

You might also try Pentagon Federal Credit Union. We just moved both of our car loans there for 1.49%. Don't know what they do with RV's but you might give it a look.

We got preapproved thru my credit union then when we found the one we wanted we basically did everything over the phone and thru fax's and had it all done in less than 2 days. The credit union's interest rate is 3.9% which is pretty low.

For just about any big purchase we get preapproved if we are going to finance it. The Harley that Thom uses to go back and forth to work we got preapproved and the rate was almost half what we would have gotten from the one that most use thru the Harley dealers, so it pays most times to get preapproved.
