This September we will be entering YNP via West Yellowstone entrance. We are looking for a great place to establish a base camp (full hook-up)for 5 days. We are looking for a great RV park that would allow us (using our toad) to see most of YNP in 5 days. Also, the same for Grand Teton, where we plan to base ourselves another 5 days.
Without a doubt I think the best full-hookup CG near Grand Teton is Colter Bay. To my knowledge it is the only FHU CG actually in the park. It isn't cheap but the setting and the convenience made it worthwhile as far as we were concerned. If you have a federal senior pass they do give you ~$10 off the daily price.

We've been to Y'stone a number of times and we always stay at Grizzly RV Resort which is located in West Yellowstone about a two minute drive to the western entrance to Y'stone. It is a beautiful place with everything you could possibly need. Close to grocery, gas, restaurants, etc. Check their website. Be sure to keep an eye on the weather that time of year as well. Good luck. BTW it's an easy drive to the Tetons from the West Entrance.

Thanks docj. I assume you are talking about Colter Bay Village CG which is a private CG. My Good Sam Travel Guide tells me that it was $57/nite last year. My Senior Pass probably would not help me here. The other Colter Bay CG is a NP CG and does not indicate what, if any, kind of HU's are available.
In Yellowstone, the only full hookup campground is Fishing Bridge and you need to make reservations NOW if you want to get in to it.
For the Tetons, as stated, the only one is at Colter Bay and you should make reservations for it NOW if you can.
Jackson has a few. I recall one is called The Virginian and it looks pretty nice..it's in town.
I think Flagg Ranch has some full hookups in their campground. It's up north of Colter Bay a few miles.

As mentioned above. Colter Bay in the Grand Tetons and Grizzly RV in West Yellowstone. Have stayed at both and found them more than adequate with FHU. Have also stayed at Fishing Bridge but would not recommend it unless you like camping on a parking lot,

the other Colter Bay CG has no hookups of any kind. it does have generator and non-generator loops.
the only CG in YNP, with any hookups, is Fishing Bridge CG.
anything else with hookups is outside the park.
