Got the Sidewinder installed and nothing but frustration since.
The pin is 4" higher than the old one, which was already a little nose high.
Crossroads- Don't put springs in lower hole in shackles
Lippert - Don't cut or weld on frame to space shackles.
Reese/Cequent- We can only help you with our product.
Guess I'll spend the $300+ to return it.
What a shame. Seems like a good product.

Pictures would be a great help. Pictures of what you have and of the new pin box. More information! No adjustment for raising the pin box or lowering the hitch?

Hitch is all the way down.
Although there would be 4" upward adjustment for a "normal" pinbox, the Sidewinder turret MUST be lower than the wings or it will twist everything.
Just seems odd that I have the only combination of truck and fifth wheel that cannnot use this pinbox.
