I liked the Class A because I could walk from the front to the rear inside without having to step up from the driver's seat and remember to step down. I have arthritis and bad knees so I wanted something easy. That said, last year we replaced the old toilet for a newer one that was chair height or ADA. It made a difference.
I also looked at how easy it was to get into and out of the MH. Some of the Class C's and B's had steep steps and put a strain on my knees.
Test drive different ones to see how well they ride, but also look at how easy it is to enter/exit, operate appliances, ease of use with slides in or out, etc. I added a stabilizer bar on the front of my MH and it made a difference how it rode as well as replaced the shock absorbers.
Our C rides better than all the A's we have owned.
In a you sit between the front and rear axel. In an A you sit over the front axel or pretty close to it.
You get more bounce that way in the drivers seat.
Never likes cab forward trucks for that reason.
Conventional truck cabs road better.
