We are driving from Hurricane, UT to Albuquerque beginning Feb. 20. Googlemaps routes us over US89 and then AZ/NM 264 to Gallup where it puts us on I-40. Does anyone know if 264 is okay for a 40ft MH with a towed?

thanks for any info.

Have run that route several times as my dad lived in Hurricane and I lived in Alb. Should be no problem. Lots of good sightseeing along that stretch if you have the time. Watch out for tribal cops, they love out of state tags.

This time of year I would recommend 89 through Page as opposed to 89A through Jacob Lake. You could hit some weather on the south route. There is also a good chance of hitting weather along that whole route too. I have seen I40 closed from Gallup to Alb several times due to snow.
