Anyone else with a 2012 F150 getting a constant squeek from one of the front brakes? I get it all the time on the front left brake, especially when backing up. And it does it all the time, regardless of weather conditions. I had it in twice and the dealer ground it down some, but insists it's from rust build up from the dampness. Then they told me it could be from the lighter brake material Ford is using to keep the weight down. Hunh???

Mine does it very occasionally backing out of my steep driveway. Never when going forward. Not sure which wheel(s) it is. My wife's Nissan Murano does it worse and the Nissan dealer hasn't been able to fix it. Doesn't seem to cause any other issues so I ignore it.

We had a 2007 F150 that did the same thing. Forwards and backwards. It was really loud and VERY EMBARRASSING!! We had it in the shop numerous times including grinding them down. Did it even after having pads and rotors replaced. The next step was to get the premo, most expensive aftermarket, but traded for an F250 instead. Keep us updated if you find a cause...I am really interested.

my daughters van did this from day one after 7k they changed the cheap rotors and put good one,s on .call the hot line insist on new rotors.

My 2013 F-150 has squeeked from the RF wheel while in reverse each and every morning upon backing out of garage only, since about 2500 miles. I now have nearly 8000 miles and the condition is unchanged.
