All of the State Parks in Indiana are our favorite campgrounds. Each one is great, and unique in it's own way and offers different attractions than others. It's hard to put one above the other. They are all great!

You really need to think in terms of what is the ultimate extreme usage you'll be experiencing with your truck, not what is the lightest usage and hope it's OK when the extreme happens. - I quote myself.

Our local Virginia favorite camp grounds are Westmoreland State Park, Skyline Drive LOFT MTN, and Sherando Lake Recreation Area...

We also love to go to ELKMONT Camp in the Smoky Mtns near Gatlinburg TN when we get the urge to spend 6 or so hours on the road...

Most of the time we stay within a couple hundreds miles of Northern Neck Virginia...

We have been to a lot of nice camp grounds but I hope we haven't found the best one yet, we are still looking.

my favorite campground is I think its the central park mall, off of I95 in Fredricksburg,Va.
They have everything, a walmart, home depot, cracker barrel, you name it, and walking distance to everything.
