We're going to a wedding on the north side of Lake Union in Seattle at the end of June, 2017. A search of RVPark Reviews and All Stays only shows a few and those when checked on Google Earth are not someplace we want to stay. Looking for local knowledge of a campground near Lake Union that isn't a 1 or 2 rated place.

Thanks in advance.

Lake Pleasant RV resort in Bothell Wa.
Very nice place with all kind of stores and restaurants nearby and easy access to I5 and Seattle without using toll bridges.

There's really nothing decent in Seattle itself but LP is an easy commute.

Lake Pleasant is by far, the most recommended place.
you don't have much to choose from, near Seattle.

Ditto on Lake Pleasant. Only downside is they are frequently full (for good reason!). Be SURE to have a reservation if you are going there!

If you are an Elks Lodge member, both the Burien and Bremerton lodges have RV parking.

You can stay at the PUYALLUP FAIRGROUNDS they have some spots that are not bad. You will want to stay off the grass sites in the winter. I have seen some messy spots with the rain. there is also a KOA in Kent that is not bad and our Favorite place but it is about a 45 min - hour drive to Seattle is King County Fair grounds RV Park in Enumclaw. You definitely want to be on the north side of Seattle. The I-5 traffic through downtown to the north side of Lake Union is a killer. Lake Pleasant is the best option.

We stayed for a week at the Monroe Thousand Trails and commuted to Seattle. Traffic is no different than any major city, horrendous.

Thank you to all who responded. We're probably not going to stay more than two nights. This is a last minute surprise to us event at the end of a 30+ day trip. Will call Lake Pleasant tomorrow.
