RE: RV park near North Augusta, SC

We have driven through this State Park and it seemed like a good little get-away, but we have not stayed there.
Aiken SP
Plus there are many COE and SP campgrounds around Lake Thurmond on both the GA and SC side about an hour or 2 away. Beautiful lake and it is full of water this year!
Enjoy your stay.

Are vibration Isolators needed on 5th Wheel Hitch ?

I'm trying to decide on what hitch to get.
Does anyone have any experience with this hitch - Reese R20 5th Wheel Hitch p/n 30867 - R20?
I'm drawn to this hitch because it has vibration isolator system that I thought would help in the ride. Am I right, or not?
I have a 36 CKTS on order with TrailAir and have a 2012 Ram 3500 Long bed,DRW, CC, Diesel.
Thanks for your input !

RE: Portable Grill comparisons...

We have the Q120 with the portable stand and love it. Quick hot and even heat and no flare up. Easy to clean. We use it at the S&B and on the road. Best grill we have had.

Black-out Shades

I really like the MCD shades, but not the price... Has anyone installed regular roll-up shades (residential) underneath the wooden valance that surrounds the windows? Seems like it should work.
An ideas, thoughts?
Thanks

RE: Help! Soy allergies, how do you cook?

I'm allergic to tree nuts and some legumes, including peanuts, peas, lentils, and soybeans. Anything concentrated with soy I immediately know I've eaten something "bad". I always have within reach an epipin and chewable childrens benadryl. We read all labels of everything we purchase. Certain breads have more soy flour/oils then others. Certain types of coffee creamer also. Like mentioned earlier, just about all frozen and/or processed foods have some type of soy products. Weird that I can have soy sauce (I'm told because the soy has been fermented, don't know for sure).
My DW is a great cook and cooks everything from almost scratch and is just as diligent (if not more) than I am :B.
My allergic reactions differ based upon what and how much I ate by mistake.
Plus we always ask what the food is cooked in or with what when we go out to eat.
Just stay in tuned as much as possible with what you buy and you will be fine. But know the symptoms and keep your medicine close just in case.
