We read our owner's manual from cover to cover. Our Jayco Eagle has not locks on the slides. Luckily, we have also had no problems. It really sounds scary though.

Yep, welcome to the real world! Unfortunately, that is the way of the world today. We have been camping for about five years now. We constantly see the problems you mentioned. We don't boondock so we have to just suck it up. Most of the time it isn't hard, but sometimes, you just want to scream!!!!

We would not recommend the KOA in the Charlotte/Rock Hill area. Don't know a good one to recommend though.

Here is South Carolina, the parks seem to be OK. We have been to about four parks in the past couple of months. We haven't noticed any differences.

In our TT we use the permanent mounted kind. We bought it from WM and paid a couple of dollars. It works fine. I hate to take up my limited counter space for something that can be off the counter. Good luck.
