RE: tablet with flash player?

Thanks for the info. We're at an rv park right now that has wifi. The hosts here said that, for some reason, Apple products have a hard time getting connected. We get connected after a long wait, with our ipads, then we get disconnected.

RE: tablet with flash player?

This sounds way more complicated than it should be. I can continue to use my laptop when I need flash. Hopefully, the sites that use use it will get the message that it's no longer supported.

RE: Allegheny tunnel

Thanks. We carry the normal (for a mh) amount of lp. I just remembered reading about a tunnel that did not allow motorhomes, so I thought I better check. Must have been another state.

Allegheny tunnel

We're on a trip to Pa, Md onto Nc. Can we drive our motorhome through the Allegheny tunnel. We have an lp tank, of course. If not, how should we go.

RE: side mirror broken, what now?

Upon further inspection, we found more damage. We decided to order the whole unit, $362 plus we paid extra for fast delivery, so we could continue our trip. Ordering was super easy, we ordered it Tuesday, got it Thursday morning. Install was easy, 4 screws and a wire connection. If we were at home, I might have shopped around, but time was important.

RE: tablet with flash player?

All Android tablets support flash, If it's not native you can download it from either Amazon or Google app (Play) stores. On the I pad, you may be able to download the add on from it's source as well. I do not know.. Apple is a tad Texas Insturments regarding their products.. (TI required all people selling stuff for the TI computers to sell through TI.. Commodore went open source.. TI lost. alas so did commodore) This is good to know. I just want a cheap, I mean inexpensive tablet to use during the few times I need flash. I wanted to use my tablet to do my taxes online, but the irs.org site needed flash.

RE: tablet with flash player?

So it would just be a matter of getting an android tablet and down loading ( hope that's the right term) the right browser?

tablet with flash player?

I have an apple ipad, which works great, but does not support flash player. Does anyone own or have knowledge of an inexpensive tablet that has flash player? Also, with that type of tablet, would I need to buy virus protection? Thanks to all suggestions.

RE: side mirror broken, what now?

Thanks for the replies. The campground host suggested an rv center to try. If they don't have the part, we're going to order from Velvac, with next day air. For anyone needing a mirror, I found the Velvac name stamped on the mirror arm, with the part # on a tag that Fleetwood put on the mirror housing. Even without the part number, the Velvac website was very user friendly. I was able to choose my mh & year, and it showed me the mirror I needed. Same model # I found on the tag. I think we'll just get the miiror part that shattered. Hope it's easy to install.

RE: side mirror broken, what now?

Thanks for the quick replies. Trackrig, did you have to to buy the entire unit?

side mirror broken, what now?

The upper part of the passenger side mirror is shattered. The entire mirror unit did not break, just the mirror glass part. Is it possible to get a replacement mirror to glue in, or would we have to replace the entire unit? Nyone know where to get this? We are traveling right, and are in the Toledo, Ohio area right now, on our way to N Carolina. Any suggestions appreciated.

RE: Splendide load size?

I usually wash a third to a half of what I wash at home. Then I dry this load a half at a time. I got a feel for what size load I could do as I got more experience using the combo. I also occasionly do a small load and let it proceed to the drying cycle. The combo was worth every penny.

hard wired or battery co detector

It's time to replace the original co detector. It's hardwired with a 9v battery backup. We can't think of a good reason to get another hardwired one. We probably will replace it with a battery operated detector. Anyone have a suggestion for a good one? Thanks

RE: Oxygenics Shower Head

OP, you should go with the Oxygenics and not cheap out. Buy it from Camping World as they have the updated Oxygenics versions, with the on/off button right on the handle. The Amazon.com versions don't have the newer Oxygenics afaik. Here is a link to the white version. They also carry chrome and brushed nickel. Shower Head - Updated Version WoodGlue We just ordered this one because of the on/off button. The one we have now turns off with a twist, but when my hands are soapy it's hard to use. Also hard to use with my arthritic hands. We should have it on Wednesday.
