RE: Disney Fort Wilderness cg loop advice

Use the inner campground busses. They take you from loop to loop or anywhere in the campground. Then take the boat or Disney busses to the parks.

RE: Adamstown Pa campgrounds

Sills is basically in Adamstown. Super friendly owners. Small park but always a nice stay. Hickory Run is another nice place.

RE: roof cleaner

I was watching a video that showed a guy cleaning an RV robber roof with a pressure washer, anyone using one on there roofs? If you guys are getting on your roofs to clean them, how are you inspecting them for tears and/or water leaks? Doug I use a pressure washer for quick cleaning. Mine has a delicate (low) setting and I keep it a distance away.

RE: Scott Run PA Four Seasons campground

We stayed there about 6 years ago and said we would never return. Things could have changed since then. The place is spotless, very well kept. Things we didn't like.....when our awning was out, it was literally in front of the site next to us. So if they wanted to leave, we had to put our awning in. Also, when we got there, we were escorted to our site, then the worker sat on his golf cart and watched everything we did from the road. This happened often that weekend. There were limited activities for kids.

RE: Lincoln Highway (HWY 30) in Pennsylvania?

Thanks for the help guys! That RoadSide America miniature place looks great, I've never heard of it but that is exactly the kind of stuff we're into. We may or may not do Lancaster, hopefully when we got (early April mid-week) it won't be too crazy Right across the highway from Roadside America is Appalachian Campground, and about a mile from there is Mountain Springs Campground. I should add....this area is north wast of the rt 30 area you asked about. Shartlesville has a few antique shops. It is about 1 1/2 from York. Maybe an overnight stop on the way or way home instead of staying in York. Cabelas is only 6 miles from Roadside America, too.

We love our 2005 Sunseeker. If we could afford to get another RV, it would be another Sunseeker.

RE: Trip Report: The Perfect Family Trip!

The Road Home: Part 1 I can't say this without hurting someone's feelings, but why anyone would chose to live in this area is beyond me. It seemed that you were at least a 10 hour drive from anything remotely interesting. My father in law lives in Kansas. I agree with you totally. And like everyone else who commented, I enjoyed your trip report. Great job!!

RE: New RV Park Reviews website is now online

Kind of like both the old and new sites. I like the fact you can see most reviewed and highest rated on the new site. I hate the fact that I can't login into my username, though. I emailed for help. Will wait and see. Worst case.....I set a new user name and update a review or 2. Great job for a free site. :b

RE: Upper-Middle East Coast Campgrounds?

Beacon Hill in Intercourse, Pa, adults only. Starlite in Stevens,Pa. Kids and all the amneties, but if you are up in the plateau area, it is very quiet, with a great view. Eastern Pa has plenty of choices.

RE: Good for kids 9 and 6 near York/Harrisburg/Gettysburg

Twin Grove (1 of our favorites)isn't far from Harrisburg and is great for kids. Doesn't have horseback riding or fishing at the campground, but Swatara Creek is close by. If you want to head east to Shartlesville, exit 23 off rt 78, there is Robin Hill and Appalachian (another one of our favorites). Both offer plenty for kids and great pond fishing.

RE: Questions about Tractor Supply

Don't know about tools, but the nuts, bolts, screws, lag bolts, etc are sold by the pound, much cheaper than HD or Lowes.

RE: Harrisburg Pa CW

Good news...CW of Harrisburg will be expanding their parking lot and sales lot onto the adjoining properties. The permits were approved last week and work should start soon. I agree with you on their lot, but it is a work in progress.

RE: Use 30 AMP in 50 Post?

This is DMBRUSS drawing of the 50A-30A adapter showing that only ONE HOT leg is being used on the 50A side... Your 30AMP Power Distribution Circuit Breaker will limit you to just 30AMPs of service. http://www.dmbruss.com/timages/FullTimingLifeStyle/Adapters/50-30ampDogbone.jpg height=200 On the other hand when you use a 30A-50A Adapter you can see that both 50A HOT LEGS are being fed by the 30A source. This will fed only 30AMP Service to both of your trailer 50A zones in your trailer. You will have to monitor what is being used at the same time so that you will not be tripping the 30AMP Pedestal service breaker. http://www.dmbruss.com/images/FullTimingLifeStyle/Adapters/30-50ampDogbone.jpg height=200 Always neat to have all of these adapters on hand when you need them. Its all about PLAN Bs and keeping the wife happy in my case... Roy Ken Nice diagrams. Arte 50 amp RV's 240volts? If they are, that bottom digram will not give you 240 volts. Simply connecting 2 wires off of the same leg will not give you 240.
