RE: Need dealer in Atlanta who knows Ram CTDs

There is a really good Cummins dealer that has very good techs but it is not in Atlanta. Just a little bit NE of there though. Ed Murdock in Lavonia. Also, Akins Ford Chrysler Dodge in Winder has a really good Cummins tech.

RE: It Finally Arrived

Beautiful truck and amazing combo! I've toyed with an F450 for a while now, now you are just pressing my inner child's buttons to get one!:B

RE: Firestone air lift ??

Firestone makes "no-drill" kits for most every truck. Even those with in bed hitches and for ones without. Check out their website here Ride-Rites You may even have to call them or a dealer to make sure before ordering.

RE: B&W Companion Hitch Front to Back Adjustment

I have my B&W Companion set all the way back and at the highest setting. And I have a long bed. I did not notice any difference in any of the setting I've had the hitch in as far as backing. I now keep it rearward so I can open my toolbox(to get to fire extinguisher) while carrying out bikes. http://i1209.photobucket.com/albums/cc390/golfmedik/IMG_20120603_113309.jpg

RE: Replacement tires 20 inch

Nitto makes a decent 20" tire. My camping buddy put them on his F250 about 3 months ago and is happy with them. Take a look at their website.

RE: Anyone care to place their bet?

By then, it will strictly be preference as to whether you like a bowtie, horns or a blue oval. They will all do anything we as campers request, just one may do it with a little more finesse than the others.:B But, I want to be one of the first to read/watch the shootout!!!! While eating popcorn:B

RE: More Wiper Blade Questions

Costco has Goodyear Assurance blades for $8ea, sometimes buy one get one free. I have little reason to use anything else. They work as well as anything else I have used in 20 years of driving. X2!

RE: My sewer hose mod

Sorry. Been away for a couple of days. Yes the gutters were from Lowe's. The post I got at Home Depot. I have a 6" pipe and caps to go on mine as well for my awning poles I am making. Nicely done.

RE: sandpiper

We love the 365. It has everything those of us with kids need. Seperate rooms, bath and a half, large bunk room and we love our outside kitchen.

RE: sandpiper

Typical of ANY manufacturer. Some rigs have issues, others don't. That's why you can't put too much stock in the complaints you read on a forum. A large majority of posters only end up in the forum to find a solution to a problem. Glad to hear you haven't had any issues with your rig. My philosophy - "camp more, worry less." Well said! 2 Sandpipers in 3 years. Both great.

RE: Questions about B & W hitches

There should be no problem at all. Very well made hitch. Like was stated above, give them a call! Their customer service is second to none.

RE: My sewer hose mod

Yep. I am not entirely pleased with the closures for the caps, as I had ordered the spring closures and got impatient so I improvised for now. Here's an option for your caps. Small hinges and pop rivits. http://pic80.picturetrail.com/VOL992/4288072/23277802/397981086.jpg http://pic80.picturetrail.com/VOL992/4288072/23277802/397981085.jpg C.B. I tried to swing my caps off like you show, but they were too tight to do that. So, I may take a little sandpaper and sand down the opening side of the tube and see if that works. I tried to find a 6" x 1/4 or 5/16" eye bolt to put a wing nut on, but couldn't find one. I like what you did there.

RE: My sewer hose mod

The tube in the front is to carry 4 sections of 5" gutter to use for draining the tanks when the CG has the sewer drains sticking way up out of the ground. Thanks for posting photos of this great idea. We have wanted to do a similar project. Can you tell me a little more about how you use the gutter pieces? I've thought about using pvc cut in half but your idea seems like a much better one! How long is each section and do they stack inside your new holder or are they end to end? Also how do you attach them to your hose while in use? Also I see in your new holder for the sewer hose it appears you have another gutter with some kind of handle on the end. Is that part of your drainage system or is it only to bring the hose in and out? I use the gutter pieces at campgrounds where I have to run the sewer hoses a long way and the park connection is high up out of the ground. For example, Myrtle Beach. This is how I did mine last year, and within a day 4 more campers around me did the same thing. http://i1209.photobucket.com/albums/cc390/golfmedik/Camper/IMG_20120720_063951.jpg http://i1209.photobucket.com/albums/cc390/golfmedik/Camper/IMG_20120717_174020.jpg http://i1209.photobucket.com/albums/cc390/golfmedik/Camper/IMG_20120720_063942.jpg That way, it is all down hill and I don't have to walk it out each time I dump the tanks. The width of the posts are 96"(8ft) so I cut the gutters to 95" to give me a little wiggle room and it will hold several. I have 3 in there now and am going to get another piece. As far as the hose tube, that is a piece of gutter I put in it to pull the hose in and out with. I just cut a wooden dowel to 4.5" and screwed it in place to give me a handle.

My sewer hose mod

Yep. I copied several of the ideas you guys have posted before. I've wanted to do this since I got the camper, and the weather here today was fantastic, so I did it. I am not entirely pleased with the closures for the caps, as I had ordered the spring closures and got impatient so I improvised for now. I had to use a 1" piece of square tubing on the top of my 5"x 5" posts due to the propane line running down the left side of the camper. The tube in the front is to carry 4 sections of 5" gutter to use for draining the tanks when the CG has the sewer drains sticking way up out of the ground. Anyway, here are a few pics and I'll be they look like some others you've seen here:B http://i1209.photobucket.com/albums/cc390/golfmedik/Camper/IMG_20130407_152958_zps7c827266.jpghttp://i1209.photobucket.com/albums/cc390/golfmedik/Camper/IMG_20130407_153017_zps02d0d6ab.jpghttp://i1209.photobucket.com/albums/cc390/golfmedik/Camper/IMG_20130407_153022_zpsbfa4fbdb.jpghttp://i1209.photobucket.com/albums/cc390/golfmedik/Camper/IMG_20130407_153036_zps965f0dba.jpghttp://i1209.photobucket.com/albums/cc390/golfmedik/Camper/IMG_20130407_153105_zps7e182170.jpghttp://i1209.photobucket.com/albums/cc390/golfmedik/Camper/IMG_20130407_160258_zps2f91ab73.jpghttp://i1209.photobucket.com/albums/cc390/golfmedik/Camper/IMG_20130407_170430_zps1d45d32f.jpg
