RE: Hooking up with Hip Replacement?

Good luck and best wishes . My experience mirrors yours and about 4-6 mo and I was feeling great. At the 1 yr mark the hip was a forgotten thing

RE: Windows 8. Anybody getting apps?

I adopted win 8 early ,last spring IIRC . I installed it on a netbook. Results have been so so. Only real complaint has been screen resolution. Most apps will not load because of wrong screen resolution . Now that is a problem with the net book and not with windows8.. I'll think I can still find a copy of win 7 and will install that..

RE: Winterizing--Air vs Antifreeze

I do both.. Blow out is quick and cheap.. With all the water out of the system all I need is 2 gal of antifreeze.. The exception being the washer. I'm not sure the air blow out method is sufficient, so I always use antifreeze in the washer. Washer alone adds another gal of antifreeze

RE: Air Force One or M & G?

I think the M and G may be a little less expensive.. Mine works flawlessly as I would expect any quality product to do..

RE: Toilet Bowl Cleaning

Good question .I'll bet more than a few RV'rs have the same thoughts. But the toilet bowl seal is not that fragile. I use toilet bowl cleaner or dish detergent or laundry detergent, maybe shampoo if that;s all that I have. I don't think I would leave harsh chemicals in the bowl for weeks at a time though. The length of time that you will be cleaning will not damage the seal or the tank.As a disclaimer, I would add that I have not damaged mine

RE: UPDATE photos added of a snapped tow bar while towing

I don't care whose fault it is , the bar broke !! Blue Ox should have sent by overnight air freight a new tow bar to a dealer of your choice in Elkhart and paid your toll to get there and breakfast at Cracker Barrel, gas for the toad too. Instead their dirty laundry is exposed for all to see and you bought a competitors product..

RE: Erasing the hard drive

As several have mentioned ... send your data, files ,pics ,etc to the recycle bin then delete recycle bin and use eraser to overwrite free space .Or use eraser on recycle bin and free space . . 7 pass overwrite..Your relative or friends will never be able to retreive your data and you can give away your puter with ease of mind. If said computer should fall into the hands of the 'gummint' they probably already have your data.

RE: Flat Towing 2006 or newer Hondas Element Automatic

Saw a bunch of Elements at the FMCA rally in Indianopolis.. I think I read somewhere that it has the same drivetrain as the CRV.. Perhaps some better versed folks will chime in here

RE: Waterless wash n' wax

It's especially good at removing bugs from the front .I use the bug buster sponge on the stubborn ones . I find now that I've had a couple of applications the bugs come off easier.. Great on glass too . Protect-all and aerospace 303 are similar, but I like this product better. Also I use it on the granite counter-tops at home

RE: A New FMCA Maybe?

We have been to the North.East Area Rally ( N E A R ) and think it is one of the best . 30 amp and good water service are just icing on the cake . There were more 5th wheels and TT this year . Nice to see some more folks joining the FMCA FAMILY

RE: Camping World takeover?

The OP was referencing the "Campers Barn " in Kingston NY NOT the "Campers Barn" in BYRON GA. Campers Barn in Kingston NY has been in business for a long time and will make a nice acquisition for CW.. fireemt510 wrote: I recently bought a camper from Campers Barn in Byron. If I had known they were going to get taken over by these liars I would have went somewhere else. The staff at Campers Barn was awesome, I hate to see they are gone now. Now does anyone else know where you can get Jayco service in Ga except Camping World??

RE: Used RV purchase. No further contact

"Our issue is we have had ZERO further contact from CW of Syracuse on any of these issues." That is the issue , Not whether or not the OP did a thorough pre delivery inspection and that is what the OP writes about
