RE: Re-packing bearings

The Dexter Axle website states that while turning the hub slowly, tighten the castle nut to 50#. The without turning the hub, back the castle nut and then tighten the castle nut finger tight, then back of until the castle nut lines up with the cotter key hole.

RE: Does your insect repellant work?

It would be helpful if a "long period of time" along with a "short period of time" could be more defined.

RE: First time post: tire issues inside pass. rear

Any recommendations on where to get a four corner scale done. The last scale I went to was an axle scale only.(Mid West preferably)
You can use a Cat scale with only driver side on the scale and front and rear weights. Subtract those weight from the axle weights to get the passenger side weights.

RE: First time post: tire issues inside pass. rear

You may have more weight on the passenger duals than the tires are rated for. Get all four corner weights at a scale. The inside dual does not get as much cooling.
Maxing tire pressure (label on the tires) on rear duals may help--use same pressure on both sets.

RE: Tongue Weight calculating

The GVWR of the 2604WS is 6739# and 12% of that for tongue wt is 808#. It likely to be OK with your F150. You can look at the driverside door post and look for the load sticker that will say what the maximum load that can be carried in your PU. This is not the GVWR.Subtract 800# from the payload sticker and that will give you whats left for driver passengers and stuff.

RE: Small Solar - Inexpensive

It will likely take 2-3hrs to charge a battery from 50% to 90%. The solar will pay for itself in less time than you think. A Honda 1000 is quiet and will use far less gas than a 300HP generator.

RE: Had a strange call from "Microsoft"

Not hostile, not the link itself:
Google: Ammyy scam
They use the Ammyy site to get you to install Ammyy's remote access product on your computer, then access your computer to install malware or spyware. The Ammyy site is not hostile by itself.

All of the ST tire manufacturers websites that I have checked call for max pressure indicated on the tire sidewall.

Had a strange call from "Microsoft"

Watch out for this one!
This morning I received a call from someone with a strong East Indian accent, who claimed he was from Microsoft and he claimed that I had a problem with my computer.
After answering several of his questions, he directed me to a website that the technical department of Microsoft would use to diagnose what my problem was and correct that problem for me.
The website is www.ammyy.com and that turned out to be a remote access software site.
Needless to say I closed the conversation and hungup.

RE: rental trailer

Getting a lawyer involved will halt all negotiations with you and Camping World. Only the lawyers from each side will then negotiate with their meters running and will extend the time before resolution. Your choice.

RE: Dealing with moisture in the fridge

The condensation could be from the fact that the refer is cold from use. When turned off, with the doors propped open, the cold box meets with the moisture in the air and condenses until the refer gets to ambiant temp. Especially true in high humidity areas.
