RE: diferent smart phones

I despise iTunes and while the iPhone was a novelty it wasn't all that and a bag of chips lol. I changed to an HTC and love it. My son loves his galaxy (also former iPhone user) iPhone is also more expensive.

RE: Thank goodness for insurance

My dh didn't believe me about how the wind can mangle an awning. He would always roll his eyes when I would roll up the awning when we would leave. Then he saw an awning flip up over a TT. I hope your insurance won't go up.

RE: Shoes, Shoes and more shoes.

Oh I understand this! We do hav a spot by the dinette that is out of the way, so that is where the pile goes. I ave a tray that they go on so the dirt is sort of contained. Otherwise, the shoes are outside.

RE: 2013 Grey Wolf 28BH Pros and Cons

We have a 2012 grey wolf 27bhks. The flooring had 2 nails coming up, and we had that taken care of. Under the kitchen sink leaked, so my dh tightened the fitting. Those have been our only issue. We have 2 boys and a dog and it has served us well. No leaks. We have done several mods to accommodate us. Oh, the touch audio is funky, so we use the remote to operate it until we replace it. We also have the power jack, power awning, power stabilizers. It's rough holing that remote.

RE: Inexpensive Kids Toys? Foam Planes, etc.....

I need to find that giant fabric frisbee! Bug catching kits are big with my 5 yr old. I also hit the clearance ailes all year. If I see something I grab it. I keep things hidden and when we *really* need something different, I bring out one of the surprise boxes.

RE: Anti-virus recommendations.....

I used avg forever, then I got a trojan virus and avg couldn't keep it quarantined or delete it. I switched to avast, and that has deleted it.

RE: Wait 1000 miles to tow with new F150 EB?

We were as close to 1000 as we could get before our first trip. We didn't want a void warranty if something were to happen Im thinking the truck can be hooked up to a diag tester and it will tell the technician exactly what mile the trailer was hooked up, since the truck will tell you the trailer is connected.

RE: Cupboards

We nailed down strips of wood on the shelves so things wouldn't slide around. Like compartments on the shelves.

RE: a short trip report from our wonderful weekend

Great pics! I love reading the trip reports from truck campers! Not finding geocaches is so frustrating! I was on the hunt for one in particular, known for being hard to find. I finally gave up, or got smart, not sure which, but waited until someone had logged that they found it when there was snow on the ground. I was in the right area, but looking for something different. The snow helped. lol

RE: Fort Wilderness Price

So, I take it you can't bundle in FW into park tickets etc, like you can when booking with hotels?

RE: Your thoughts on Cherokee grey wolf w/slide out

We purchased a 2012 Grey Wolf 27BHKS 2 yrs ago. There isn't anything on this TT that I can say I don't like. The bunks are perfect for my kids, the dinette/bed is big enough that 3 of us can lay there while watching a movie, love the 2nd door for the bathroom, the drawers are roller slides, the outside speakers/tv hookup are great. The only thing that has gone wonky is the touch radio, but it works with the remote. We did add shelving in the bedroom wardrobes and the kitchen cabinets. The one thing giving me a fit is the large corner cushions for the dinette - I'm trying to recover them and I'm no expert in that area. Our floor plan has the kitchen/sofa in the slide. We were pulling it with a Suburban (with tow package), but after a year, we found the mountains were too much - it was really slow going sometimes. We now have a F150 Ecoboost and it's been wonderful.

RE: Stink Bug Eradication

I keep a Roll of duct tape handy. When we see one inside, we stick he tape to the bug and fold the tape over it, then throw it away. They stink if you squish them! I have tried the led light in the soda bottle, it didn't work.
