We recently purchased a 1998 29ft Class C Jayco. The unit come with a 30 gallon fresh-water tank stored under the couch. This is barely enough for 1-2 days of dry-camping for a family of four. Is there a good way to add 15-20 more gallons of fresh-water to an RV? Are there cany containers that are better than others?
You could get yourself a few of the 5 gallon spring water bottles, keep the caps for when you refill them, or a good surplus military 5 gallon jeri can.
3 or 4 plastic water containers of 5 gallons each, if you have someplace to carry them. If you want to add permanent water tankage you'd need to decide where you could give up storage. Perhaps under one of the dinette seats.

You sound like you need some big water tanks, that can be piped into the exsisting tank, or have a second water pump installed, and turn it on when the first tank is empty. Or you can place a large water tank in your pickup bed, and transfer it to your trailer with a second water pump.
Look up these sites or do a search for "Water Tanks"
Golden_hvac posted a good link there for "Diverse", (Thanks Golden) they have some rectangular tanks that would fit perfect under my TT between the frame rails for an aux water tank, I requested a shipping quote from them to get it up here, and it so far (untill I get the shipping quote) looks alot cheaper than the tanks the rv dealers are selling.
