BTW, I suspect it is on a Magnum (Safari in-house brand), not Spartan chassis.

Is there way to prove it, that gives me legal right to retract my offer.

Sure, the chassis serial number will tell you who built it. And if still there, there may be a decal by the entrance door saying who built it.

I am not suggesting you not buy it bacause of the Magnum chassis, but is you are looking for an out.............

I am looking for an "out", but I did offer him 50 dollars for the trouble. I made a mistake, but at the same time, I like what I see. If the dealer was closer to my home, I would go and see it.

Did you make an offer or do a "buy it Now" purchase. I tried to look at the listing but it's closed now.
If it's not on a as stated you do have an out.
I quit buying and selling on eBay when they quit letting sellers post negative feedback. I even let my eBay Education Specialist certification lapse.

Looks like a water leak by the dining window. 25,000 is a good price according to NADA. If you are in the market, it really doesn't look that bad.

I owned a 330 CAT and they are one tuff engine. I pushed mine to the max in Arizona summers. As for making an offer when you are not willing to accept "yes" for an answer...Good Luck.

It doesn't look like a bad deal at $25,000, but most of the better ebay dealers will allow you to back out if you cover their costs, which are usually estimated at about $250. When you consider that it will likely go for less on a second auction, they are actually being more than reasonable.

They canceled the agreement, and I think they sold it localy anyway because they did not re-enlist it.

So.. I am back to shopping to look for the right layout for a family of five in my price range. I think I will stick with gas for now.

Something you should know about the Cat 300.
We have a 1998 Allegro Bus with a Cat 3126B diesel 300 hp engine. We love the coach. No problems other than a persistent engine overheating problem since we bought it last summer. I have followed the advice of several threads, on this forum, related to this common overheating issue with the 3126B but they have not lead to any solution other than cleaning the rad & slowing down and increasing the rpms to prevent it from going to heat danger zone. Slowing to 45 mph for a 200 mile trek is not a comfortable option. I am still uncertain as to what it will cost to truly resolve the issue.
