My AC worked a few months ago when I bought my 2005 25 ft Nomad. Now when I try to turn it on all I hear is a humming sound and the fan doesn't kick on. It does the same thing if I try to turn just the fan on or the AC at any setting. Trailer is plugged into shore power at my house.
It is a Duotherm with the controls on the unit in the ceiling.
Any thoughts?
Thanks!

Maybe a starting capacitor they are like small battery's that store power and then help get the motor started if it goes bad the motor will not have enough current to get started Joe

your local critters may have a nest thing going in one of the fans. Youll have to pull the cover an see

I vote for mud daubers nest on fan keeping it from turning. Pull the cover and have a look. See if you can spin it by hand.

You guys are great, the fan was just stuck. I moved it with a stick and now it starts right up. Any way to prevent this? The shaft on the fan and the body looked pretty rusty even though the rest of the trailer is in really good shape for an 05.
Now I can try my new to me EF2400 out on the AC
