My daughter a Lieutenant in the Navy will be transferring to Everett WA the end of July. She just bought a 23` TT for her & her 2 dogs (Great Dane & Mastiff) to make the trip but I think may end up staying in it until she finds a place to rent. Would like to know if anyone here is familiar with the areas around there & could give me some suggestions for campgrounds for her to look into or if anyone knows any rental homes or good real estate agents as well. Thank you in advance

It isn't in Everett, it's in Bothell, which is not too far from Everett, but you won't find a lovlier park than Lake Pleasant RV Park.

She might have some difficulty with them accepting her dogs.

I figure the dogs are going to make things difficult in finding a place but she insists she wanted out of Norfolk because of the traffic...

The dogs especially the Mastiff will make things closer to impossible than difficult.

Her English Mastiff is a big lap dog both seem small for their breed. I just wonder how hard it`s going to be for her to find a place to live...

I think your daughter will like her assignment to Naval Station Everett, nice country and not as bad for traffic as down in Seattle area except during the afternoon commute it's busy on US 2 heading east from Everett and for a couple miles on I-5 north and south of the intersection with US 2. Weather out here is much better than many other US Navy locations. There's a campground about 15 miles north of Everett just a few miles off from I-5; think it used to be a state park and now it's run by Snohomish County, but that's just a guess. She needs to check with the people at the naval station for places to park the TT, and also for house rental info. We're proud of the Navy people who call Washington their home, even if just for a tour of duty!

Thank You, I also checked in GoPet Friendly & there are some possibilities there to send her. She does plan on flying out to look at housing & storage for the TT. I hope it works for her & she can find what she needs and good dog boarding since we are no longer close enough to drive to get the dogs in an emergency.
