My truck is just a regular cab so short of putting him in the seat between us the only other opions are in the bed of the truck in a cage or in the 5ver in a cage. I don't like the truck bed idea so the only option left is in the 5er in a cage. My wife's uncle seems to think riding in the 5er will make him sick.
Any suggestions?
Yet another reason I have cats. Load them up with food and water and an extra litter box or two and i'm gone for the w/e!! Plus if we decide we want to spend the night somewhere we don't have to worry about letting the dogs out.
Would love nothing more than to get a dog. But I'm well aware of the responsibilities involved and have decided that they're not conducive to our lifestyle. If we're going to be gone a week or more, the in laws will swing by the house every few days to check on them.
Or I could be like the lady I see every summer during our 4Th of July trip. She brings her cat with her. Its leash trained and she just has it outside tide on a leash and the cat seems to love it!
So you have a "small" problem! Our St. Bernard weighs in at 165 lbs. We have traveled about 120 miles with 4 adults and 3 dogs, including Lucy, in our crew cab. The other two dogs were Labs.
Lucy and Max sat on the rear seat between the two adults and Cleo sat on the floor in front of the passenger seat.
If the dog is very active, you might consider having the passenger sit in the middle so you can drive without interference.
