Last year we went on a 6 week trip in May and June, then in July I had a total knee replacement that put the brakes on our RVing. Resumed RVing in September but probably did only 3-4 week long trips before we had to winterize. The previous year we spent 60 nights in the RV, probably about 4 trips.
Our season here runs from May thru September.

We try to go as much as possible. At least monthly but with fuel prices and wifes recovery from a heart attack this was put on hold. Now with her health back on track and her rehabilitation done we are trying to get back on track.

I have come to the conclusion I am not camping enough
so, as soon as we get that new camper those few trips I was thinking about planning but haven't...well heck yea I am planning them!
lately I feel like with home/work/school stuff we are not going as much and it effects us. we are 'change of scenery' people and we need it. it reboots us.
everyone has me motivated to camp more so thanks!

I've only been 4 times this year so far but I'm also having to factor work and school in. I'm about to finish a Master's up and after that, look out. I have every other Friday off and I'm hoping to start getting more scenic time in.

Surely this depends on where you are in life. People with kids in school and full time jobs with family to visit on vacations, or illness in the family, just can't get away so long or so often. Our minimum is once a month and that is about all we actually do. Leaving on Saturday morning and returning on Sunday night is what we can get in. Some years we can take one longer trip too. But after we both retire---then we hope to take more longer trips and be out more often.

We "camp" (we really just have a mobile hotel room) once a month from April through October (& sometimes Nov. if the weather is good). Each trip is from Thursday through Tuesday. DH retires in 3 more years so I expect that our "camping" will increase then.

We typically camp 65-70 nights a season; we have a seasonal campsite so we stay there when we're not traveling. Last season (May/October) we travelled about 6 weeks and stayed at 12 campgrounds.
