The only time I do not use the RV toilet at DW request and find a restroom is after sitting around a camp fire eating Chili and washing it down with good cold Buds. This kind of meal can also set off the LP detector.

Thats why I have a motorhome so I don't have to use public restrooms, fight bed bugs in hotels, eat fast food etc. Maintain the tank and it won't smell.

My 2 original requirements for an RV was that it had a toilet and a fridge. Yes we make full use of the facilities.
Best thing I have found is to put about 2 gallons of water in the black as soon as you drain it, and then dump liquid enzymes in it. That gives plenty of time to get things processing before the next trip.

Of course we use the facilities in the motorhome, that's what it's there for. Why be a slave to your motorhome, use it as it was intended!
Who wants to walk/run to the 'other' facilities?
ALL the components in the RV work better when used. Anything left unattended/not used will die.
USE THE RV!

Let me get this straight - you would rather sit on a seat that who knows how many other strangers butts have sat on instead of using your own toilet?

Gee, what to do, use the RV facilities or go to the vault toilet in the Forest Service campground?
Given the odor cloud that is often hanging around the vault toilets, seems to me the choice is clear. Use the RV!
After all, that's why we have a FULLY SELF CONTAINED RV!
