Hi All
During our camping trip last week, I noticed water dripping from under the trailer. After searching around I discovered it was coming from under the shower. All water pipes were dry no leaks I can see. What I did notice was that the tub sits on a wooden platform which has about 4" long legs. One of the legs sits over a hole in the floor which cut for the drain trap.
When I stand in the tub it flexes near the drain. I think the water maybe coming from there, I drilled a hole the floor to let the water out quicker.
So now i want to remove the Shower tub to repair what ever leak I find and to place a support under the one platform leg.
If I remove the plastic wall liners and then strip the caulking around the tub, will it come out or is there more to it? Taps are not connected to the tub.
Thanks
Theunis

We had a similar problem with ours a few years ago when it was new. In my case it was the drain elbow just needed to be tightened up. My DW was taking a shower and I was sitting outside and noticed soapy water running out from under the TT.

I checked all the elbows and they seem tight(hand not wrench).Do you use a wrench on the elbow?

No I just tightened it nice and tight by hand. It did the trick for me.

Make sure the two fittings line up straight. Mine were a bit crooked, so I loosened it up even more, got them straight and tightened it back up nice and tight.
