So that new rv you have your eye on has a queen bed... SURE IT DOES!!
MEASURE IT, BEFORE YOU BUY IT 60" X 80"???? WHY NOT??? Why 84" ceilings and 75" bed for thy master, one might ask $180,000.00 later???
What are these RV Manufacturers thinking? HELLOOOOOO!!!!

Yep, a full size queen bed in the "north/south" configuration was on our "deal breaker" list. I did a lot of searching to find out what size various brands/models had and was amazed at how many had the 60"x75" beds.

If my truck camper built to fit on a short bed truck can have a full size queen my motor home for darn sure will.

Same here fore/aft 60" X 80". I am too tall for a "short queen".

im suprised more builders dont use murphy style beds since it really opens up the usable space. I need a seperate changing room and hate my bed is in the way. Im almost finished with my drawings to rearrange the space. Should give me a good 40sq ft of floor space.

Our king is short and I just pull the mattress down about 4 inches so my heels don't hang off the end.

"I am too tall for a short queen." Poppycock! Nonsensical Nittering!

Oh come on! There are lots of tall guys who actually prefer a short queen!!!

When looking at an RV that has a short queen, check to see how much manuevering would be left if there was a full sized queen there. Sometimes, if not often, the reason for the short queen is a lack of room.

I agree on the Murphy bed. I saw a class C Leprechan I think that I was amazed how neat it was.

At 75", that's 6 ft 3 in...right? Ok, so most people sleep with their head in the middle or maybe even further up on the pillow so you will lose 3 or 4 inches of the 6 ft 3 in. I think the last I heard, the average American male is around 5 ft 10 in.....which incidentally, I am.

So that 75" works out real good for the "average" male. Those of you who are a little (or more) longer do indeed need to investigate the bed lengths if you happen to sleep stretched out.....Of course, how many of us do that?
