This weekend I finally installed the warranty replacement tent ends that KZ sent me 4 years ago (the old ones weren't that bad so I held off installing them).

Well, the install went ok, but when I went to put the poles in to support the tents, none of the 3 adjustment holes in the poles would work would work, it was if these tents were a 3-4 inches shorter, and I had to drill new holes into the poles. Nne of the existing holes came close to being useable.

So, I'm just wondering if anyone else has run into this when replacing tents!

Thanks

I would think you would notice a difference in the length when installing. There should have been a noticeable difference in the way it fit on the deck before you even got to the point of using the shepard poles.

Well thinking about it more, after installing the bunks, when I flipped up the support (thats the big "u" shaped support bolted to the bunk end that actually holds the end of the tent up) that doesn't touch the bunk in the same place it touched the old bunks....it sits lower, so that right there says the bunk is a bit shorter.
