Have a 2002 Trail Lite Hybrid with slideout.
Yesterday I lubrican the screws and
open & close the slideout just fine.
Today I open the slideout about 4".
Later I tried to open or close it,
and the motor does not run.
Ck the fuses & ckt breakers.
Does the motor try to spin (you can feel it buzzing while switch is on) or is there no sound/vibration?
The reason I ask is that I had a similar problem a few years ago and it turned out that the electric brake on the motor shaft failed an wouldn't let the motor shaft rotate. The brake is normally applied without power and releases when power is applied to the motor and brake at the same time (motor and brake are wired in parallel). This keeps the slides on my unit from backing out while driving.
I replaced the brake unit by calling the manufacturer and they sent me a new one free.
