Friend has a 2008 Newmar Dutch Star. Bought it used with very low miles. It came with Sony TV's-He is unable to swing out the TV to access the back. He bought it last year and is unable to get anything on the TV's although he can receive channels via the OTA antenna on the basement TV. There is a black button, approx. 1" in diameter on the panel below the TV. Has some wires that run from the button to the back. He believes that they were never hooked up properly.
Anyone know how to swing it out or remove it?
Thanks

Did he try the input button on the remote yet? This has options for DVD/TV/SAT etc.

Is the tv made to swing out? Might be a locking tab holding it.If not a swing out, usually there are pull cords near the bottom of the tv to release the locks, then you just lift up the tv. The pull cords might have been pushed up behind the tv.I tuck mine up and need a bent coat hanger to get them back out. Good luck. It went in it has to come out.

Newmar used a magnetic catch swing out mount on my coach......need to give it a good pull to release. TV and video selector switch must both be set for proper inputs and channels scanned for each particular area you are in. Not sure what the set-up is on that MH, if a manual is required, it can be downloaded on line.

It appears that the round button mounted with double sided tape would be a release but pushing it does nothing. Will look for a release cord. We are both familiar with how to scan for channels.
