Super Dijest It

This product does work.......pricy but works.

I personally don't use any chemicals, cause we fill dump every week and don't have an odor problem. But I have used this product in past years when we only camped occasionally. It wasn't as pricy back them....but it goes a long way.

Then there is this product......
Happy Camper
Don't know anything about it other than I read about folks recommending it here at RV.Net

I use Happy Camper also have been for years have not had a order problem while using it. What I like about it is there is no perfume smell to it. And you only have to use a scoop per 30 gallons so it goes a long way.

The chemical that I have found that works best for me is baking soda. I just put 1/2 cup in after I drain the holding tank. No odors at all.

We have installed an SOG. No chemicals neccessary whatsoever anymore.

It is a small fan that engages as soon as you hit the lever. Vents all gases to the outside through a carbon filter before the toilet valve opens.

No smell, no chemicals, and you can dump in any toilet facility.

It is a fairly easy DIY job.

Here is a link with a product description:

Really like the SOG system, as usual the Europeans have upstaged us in RV Innovation.

In the meantime we use Thetford Campa-Chem .A very small amount poured into the water tank fill spout. Then dump the water into the C2 Thetford.

It just barely turns the water in the sight glass bluish.

It is biodegradable also.

Time to dump now, love it, no hoses, no fuss, turn her up , push the button and the 20 second dump procedure is finished.

Big Whitey,

Hi,

Try the baking soda before you spend any money. What's it cost? Ten minutes of your time? Then you will actually know whether or not it does the trick.
