Took Bonnie to local vet here at our summer place and he said she may have longer than we thought. But she is not eating well.
Will try to boil chicken and mix it with her dog food. Afraid she is having problems eating because the cancer was in her mouth. Vet didn't want to look in her mouth. He didn't want to make her unhappy with that. She is drinking water and eating a little every day.
'
Everyone please please check your dog's mouth and lips often. This cancer was in the corner of her mouth on her lip. It is a very aggressive cancer and if we had not done anything she would have lived about 3 months. But with radiation and surgery, she has lived good life for over a year.
