There is something wrong with that quote because I am paying more for the no-fault coverage than that.

Lets be a little more realistic here. Its a known FACT that to insure your MH to be driven for a full year and have required coverage plus a decent liability etc will cost around 12-$1300 per year so its rather obvious the 120$ is a quote error. You dont have to be smart to realize this situation is bogus and of course if your full time its a lot more than even 1300$

Yeah I agree. Like I said earlier I think they are quoting a TT instead of a MH and the no fault doesn't apply.

I have been with Progressive for 15 years, mine MH is 15 years old and about every 5 years the cost go down, I am now paying less than $500.00 per year and that full coverage, $500 deductable and they have been a good company to deal with, I had a transimission fire in Ohio and we live in GA, they paid for everything, hotel, mileage to and from home.

I think there is a decimal point error in the quote. $1200 is what I think is about average from my reading on this forum and this thread.

The annual premium is now up to $170 with Foremost but overall Farmers is a little more for all my insurance so I'm sticking with current insurance company. I did increase the deductable to $1000 on everything which saves some. The MH premium is just under $500 for the year.

Our insurance premium with full timer coverage is about $900 per year. We have an older mh so that makes a differance in the replacement cost.

Okay, I don’t have Foremost, in fact I just decided on the AARP Hartford after checking their Motorhome insurance rates and they’ve given us a quote of $62 a month, full coverage on our RV. We’ve been told that since we’re over 50 (54 to be precise) we’re eligible for additional discounts as well so that’s pretty great.

The old saying of, "if it seems to be to good to be true, it probably is" is rearing its ugly head. What kind of insurance agent would try to juggle the insured vehicle description? Do it right or be prepared to get bitten in the rear down the road.

Having just delt with Foremost due to my stolen TT I am very pleased with their service. They paid full value plus some in 14 days and were professional all the way. As far as premiums this is comparing apples to oranges but I paid $8/mo for a $35K TT with a $1000 deductable.
