CoPilot is flagging the road into Fishing Bridge as truck restricted. Does anyone know if there are restrictions that would prevent me from driving from the West entrance to FB?

No - you will be just fine. Semi trucks are not allowed to drive through the national park.

We're on the east side of Yellowstone, drove the entire loop yesterday and found the roads to be ok. There are some grades and curves but nothing that is not doable. We saw many Class A's towing toads with no problems.

The roads in YNP are nice. I would go to their website to find out what constructions projects are going on and where.

Yes has to do with trucks not allowed not construction or grades etc.

We drove the entire loop yesterday from the East Entrance. There was only one place where there was construction. Only took a few minutes to get thru. The major backups were animal watchers (us included!!) Saw a coyote, a beaver, buffalo, bison and 3 bears!! Totally awesome! Fishing Bridge was full! There were a couple of campgrounds not as popular and with no hookups that had vacancies. Enjoy!!

If you haven't already, you'll soon realize not to put 100% faith in GPS systems! Have a good trip.

Took the southern loop from the West Entrance and didnt have a problem. Really enjoyed our week at FB.

During the prime animal viewing hours I would not recommend the northern loop simply because of the traffic jams at several points. People stop and park on both sides leaving only one lane down the middle and sometime it is a pretty tight lane.
