Same here.
Hi All.
X3. I installed a Multi Power Port, on the drivers side just for the same reasons. It also makes it easy to mount our TST #507 Tire Monitoring System,
It keeps everything tidy and neat, and easy to see. Good Luck. Happy Travels. Dan & Jill

I have the same issue with my RVND. Ended up using Velcro figuring I would clean it with alcohol or gu gone if I ever I decide another approach. The thing that really bothers me about most GPS mounts is that they don’t work. You end up paying another $30 for something to assist the mount. Why don't they just make or provide a mount on the unit that works in the first place? And MH manufacturers know that 99% of us want to mount a GPS somewhere, yet they put finishes that make it all but impossible for a suction mount on any place that you might want to put a GPS.

This was posted earlier. I have several of these, most of them broke. If you have to move it occasionally or sits in the sun a lot it will weaken the arm. The locking mechanism for the phone/gps is shoddy at best. However, I have yet to find a better way to do it. Just be aware that they are fragile and you should be ok.
As a side note due to bouncing they make horrible Iphone dash cam holders when offroading(the stabilizing software will make it look like a bad acid trip).
That was a stock photo. Apparently the 'brand' you bought must have been the problem. I have misused and abused mine for years and it works the same as the day I bought it.
I have had THIS set up, same GPS, Same holder and same mount for over 6 years now!!

Does NOT bounce one iota. The bouncing is THE one thing I could not take with these GPS's in the MH which sent me on my quest for one that did not.
I have bent and twisted that arm a million times for different views depending on what vehicle it is in and the sun and its as rigid as when it was new and the suction cup hasn't come off in 6 years!
And sadly,k yes, over the years I have been lacking on bringing it in out of the sun and it has sat in the Florida sun all day several times.
Just can't say enough about how pleased I am with this set up. Every one I have RV'd with have agreed also and went out and bought one.
Just saying, just sharing a good thing I found for RV'ing.

I used velcro and attached it directly to my dashboard. It doesn't move at all, it is out of the way and in easy reach. I routed the wired to the lighter outlet, used small wire ties, and hooked them to the screws already holding the front plate of the dashboard to the dashboard. Did the same thing to my Tire Pressure Monitor and my ScanGuage.

Fortunately (or unfortunately) I have the old CRT TV in the dash that makes a perfect place for the stock suction cup mount. Out of the sun and can either be on the drivers side or the copilots.

I suction cupped my GPS to a can of beans and put it in a cup holder. Works fine!

I've used the bean-bag/donut for several years now, works great and I can easily move it from vehicle to vehicle.
Happy RV'ing!!

I just mounted mine on the side window as well. Works really well and I already had a 12v outlet there. I like the can of beans idea in the cup holder though. That's great.

Works great, easy to see, easy to mount.
