I've been a camping/RVing fanatic since I was young. Mom and Dad got me started with a 8x10 canvas Coleman tent. This was used until I was in high school and it finally gave out. That ended the camping until Hubby and I got married. We started out with tents, but found it just wasn't as much fun as it was when we were young. We started with pop-up, then on to a small TT, a scamp. One cold Christmas was all it took to sell that and move up to an old Airstream. It had been sitting unused for a while and hubby finally talked the woman who owned it into selling it to us. He worked on it, and we made a few trip in it. We had a chance to buy a motorhome, so we made another change. However the motor home was not what we expected. Again, we bought from an individual and had trouble immediately. Once going, we again made a few trips, but again, it was not quite what Hubby wanted. We sold it and now have a 26 foot '93 Dutchmen. We've made a few cosmetic changes(carpet to vinyl for the dogs sake) and hubby has added a few gadgets. We are now happily saving for a "new" model, hopefully with slide and a walk-in shower. But until then, we are a happy family of 4, mom, dad and two furry babies. Happy in our snug little home on wheels. I'm looking forward to a longer trip, maybe Sedona, someday.
