I like all types of music from the 20's and on to today. Of course, I'm selective in recent years as to the vocalist. I enjoy country,clssical, show tunes, opera (in smaller doses),religious, yet my favorite remains with the rock and roll and Doo Wop of the 50's and 60's. I love the great outdoors and wilderness areas where I thoroughly enjoy observing all the beauties of nature. I enjoy a variety of movies, especially PG and G rated, and many others depending on the reason for their rating. I've liked several R-rated movies which portray real life stories and if the violence is appropriate to the story. Just a kid at heart, I guess.I like bowling, "playing" at golf, swimming, fishing (when they are biting),boating,hunting,hiking, exploring the back roads and by-ways, quiet walks, table games, especially Rumikub. I love to laugh and good-hearted teasing. I can barely restrain myself from singing and/or dancing when good music is playing and I like to turn up the volume. most of the time I don't really try to restrain myself. I love being a fulltimer, meeting new people and forming new friendhips.I'm an avid football fan, though I've not set on one particular team in the last 5 years or so. I enjoy watching car racing, ice-skating,Poker, and more on TV and/or in person.
I have 4 kids - 2 boys and 2 girls, and a very special son-in-law. We get along well, enjoy each other and share alot. I am blessed to have 6 grand-children and one very special God-child. I take much pride in the accomplishments of my children and grandchildren and love them all very much.
I have a strong faith foundation which is a VERY IMPORTANT aspect of my life.
For the past 3 years I have camphosted in Arizona, New Mexico and Alaska.
I am a member of Western Horizon Resorts, Good Sam, Passport America and FMCA, AARP.
My primary hobby is writing about what I know - personal experiences. I'm trying to learn keyboard.
I like being me, having fun and enjoying all that life has to offer.
