More about helperzack

In March of 2007 while traveling through Atlanta, I fell while loading a car topper on our van. My wife tells me that while in the ER, I asked the Dr. for a prescription for a motor home so that I would not have to load that car topper again. I do not remember anything except waking up that night in the hospital room.

Well, six months exactly from the day of my accident, we took delivery of our first RV and we love it. While I still have to work, we have a goal to use our RV at least once a month. We have foster children and try to make monthly trips to Disney in Orlando. With foster children you can take them anywhere in the state, but have to get the judge's permission to take them out of state. Not difficult just time consuming for the case workers.

If anyone has any questions about foster care or adoption, please feel free to contact me. Currently we have 3 children, 30, 23 and 6yo, (two which were adopted). And two foster sons, 18 months and 2.5yrs. We have been blessed with 39 foster children. Many got to return to their parents. Some we get to continue to visit and be a part of their life after they got to go home. It is great to watch them grow.
The children are wonderful loving little persons. The system here in Florida makes it most difficult on them.

Do you have room for a child? Consider fostering/adopting a child. Thousands of children are in need of a loving family.
